*Supreme Court Victory: Prince Ukpong Akpabio II congratulates Gov. Umo Eno*

...*Says Arise Agenda on course, assures of better days for Akwa Ibom State*

The Member representing Essien Udim State Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Rules, Business, Ethics and Privileges, Prince Ukpong Akpabio II, has joined Akwa Ibomites at home and in the diaspora to rejoice with and congratulate the Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno on his victory at the Supreme Court with regards to the March 18, 2023 Akwa Ibom State Governorship election.

In a statement made available to newsmen shortly after the judgement of the apex court, Prince Akpabio described the Supreme Court judgement as a reflection of the reality and validity of the people's mandate as was expressed through the ballot.

The lawmaker noted with delight that with the end of litigation, the Governor no longer has anything that can distract him from his determination to change the fortunes of Akwa Ibom people through the instrumentality of the Arise Agenda.

"On behalf of the people of Essien Udim State Constituency, I join other well meaning sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom State to congratulate you on your well deserved victory at the Supreme Court. Your judicial victory from the Election Petition Tribunal, to the Court of Appeal and now the Supreme Court is an affirmation that you are God's perfect plan for Akwa Ibom State at this point in history", he stated.

Prince Akpabio assured Akwa Ibom people that with the Governor's Judicial victory, the passage and assent of the 2024 budget and the Governor's passion to run an all inclusive government, the state will no doubt witness unprecedented growth and development in all critical five pillars of the Arise Agenda in the areas of Agriculture Revolution, Tourism Development and Environmental Management, Rural Development, Women & Youth Empowerment, Infrastructural Maintenance and Advancement, Security Management, Sound Educational and Health Sector Management as well as Economic, Industrial and Social Advancement.

He urged all Akwa Ibom people irrespective of party affiliation or ethnic nationality to join hands with the Governor in moving the state forward, stating that election is long over and as such all hands must be on deck towards moving the state forward towards realizing the vision and dreams of the state's founding fathers.
