... invites fun seekers to witness exciting moments at Ibeno beach from 22nd to 24th December

Fun lovers within and outside the State are in for a good time this Christmas season, as a tourism development and consultancy firm, ‘De-Noahua Tourism Enterprise’ has concluded plans to spice up the yuletide for Akwa Ibom people.


Unveiling “IBOM BEACH GAMES FESTIVAL 2023’’ scheduled to kick off from Friday 22nd December through Sunday 24th of December, 2023 (about four days from now) at Ibeno beach in Ibeno local government area of Akwa Ibom State, the company in a statement jointly endorsed by the CEO of the company and Convener of the event, Mr. Ukpong Umoh, and made available to newsmen, the organizers noted that the idea behind the 3 day fun-filled beach games festival is geared towards maximizing and projecting the tourism advantage of one of Nigeria's longest coastline, measuring about 129km along the Atlantic Coastline in West Africa, and as well showcase the State's outstanding serene and beautiful beach, (the Ibeno beach) to the world.


The festival which is open to all for participation, will start 8:am to 11:pm daily at the beach with no dull moment, as it would feature various games including, beach soccer, beach volleyball, Traditional Wrestling, Nsa isoñg, Music, Comedy, Dance, Talent hunt show, among others.


The organizers say they are expecting about 20,000 participants at the beach fiesta.


According to the organizers, a ticket fee of N1000 admits intending participants while ticket for a family goes for N5,000. Tickets are available at the venue, while more sponsors are welcome.


For those intending to participate in Volleyball games, and beach soccer, each team is expected to register with N5,000, while those who would be participating in Traditional Wrestling are to register with N2,000.
